Function

The COUNTIS EVDC is a modular meter designed to measure energy in direct current systems. It features a backlit LCD display for direct reading of measured values.
Current measurement is performed using an external shunt connected via cable.
This meter is primarily used in electric vehicle charging stations.
With its MID certification, it meets billing requirements and can be integrated into installations that demand regulated and reliable energy measurement.

The measurement chain ensures MID Class B accuracy on direct current networks up to 1000 VDC.

Remote Monitoring via Modbus and pulse

In addition to the LCD display, the meter supports Modbus communication over RS485 for remote data acquisition.

Compensation of charging cable losses

The COUNTIS EVDC accounts for the natural energy losses in the charging cable to provide a more accurate measurement of consumption.
