The UK left the European Union at the end of the transition period on 31st December 2020.
Socomec aims to ensure minimum disruption for our customers as we adjust to the new trading regimes.
Socomec has completed a number of supply, logistics and procedural activities to ensure we continue to meet our obligations to UK and EU regulatory bodies.
The dates given in the paragraph below were revised in September 2021 following the UK government’s decision to extend the deadlines for UKCA marking.
UKCA marking
Socomec will be adding the new UKCA marking to all the relevant Socomec products sold by Socomec U.K. in the United Kingdom.
The scope of the UK offer will be reflected in the 2023 price list to be released during 2022.
From 1st January 2023 the UKCA marking should be on the product unless this is not possible.
Until that date the products can be CE marked where appropriate.
Declaration of conformity
For part numbers included in the UK offer, Socomec U.K. will have available the UK declaration of conformity. This can be requested by writing to info.uk@socomec.com.
The current deadline for the UK declaration of conformity is 1st of January 2023. Until that date, a European declaration of conformity is accepted.
